About the position and the department. 

The Supply Chain department need to increasing its capacity to meet the needs of the market. We are looking for experienced employees who are able to work independently, like to travel, take responsibility and can be Nel Hydrogen's good ambassadors on site. 

We are therefore looking for a structured and result-oriented employee who will strengthen our position to successfully deliver field proven and competitive systems for our operations.

The main positions responsibility will be:

• Ensure product quality requirements in tender phase, development, and delivery of projects for Nel’s Hydrogen Electrolysers systems.
• Development and quality surveillance/witness activities during project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with requirements and relevant standards and guidelines.
• Responsible for product quality from suppliers through supporting strategic sourcing as part of cross functional sourcing teams.
• Review of quality & technical documentation as ITP, Quality Plan, MPQP, welding
  documents, NDE procedures and reports as part of MRB from suppliers.
• Perform supplier approval; prequalification and qualification of suppliers, in-
  cluding supplier audits for QMS and special processe as welding, NDE.
• Ensure compliance to applicable standards & client requirements for projects.
• Contribute to pretender/tender activities to handle quality, safety, materials and
  welding related issues.
• Evaluate projects material, welding and Non-destructive requirements per
  project specifications and applicable standards.
• Supplier QC follow-up to ensure compliance and workmanship in accordance to
  relevant standards.
• Supplier follow-up incl. welding and NDE to ensure compliance to project
  requirements during different phases of manufacturing.
• Handling of Client and Supplier NCRs, improvement proposals, complaints,
  concessions, and deviations and to ensure appropriate preventive/corrective
  actions and to facilitate RCA activities.
• Contribute to continuously improvement of the company's management system.
• Risk assessments and controls related to product quality.
• Facilitate prioritized business improvement initiative.
• Promote and communicate QHSE awareness and learning culture in Nel.

 Competencies:

• Bachelor's Degree or similar, work experience can compensate for lack of formal competency.
• Additional experience in Supply Chain management, Lean Manufacturing, Process Improvement is desired.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Quality, Engineering, Supplier Development, Supplier Quality and/or Project Management.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple, and often conflicting priorities is critical.
• Must have demonstrated performance as a change agent with leadership and typically project management skills.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Norway.
