System Controls Engineer

We are searching for a System Controls Engineer who will have a technical lead, contribute and support studies, tenders and project execution within the mandate of the Nel project engineering department. The position will report to the Head of Project Engineering and is located in Oslo, Norway.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Responsible for the system design and documentation of the hydrogen plant working with an integrated team of discipline engineers
• Seek commercial and technical opportunities in Tenders and execution projects
• Ensure that all client requirements are implemented and review client requirements to see if there is possible for cost optimization without compromising on HSE or Project risk
• Develop system documentation- and operational manuals
• interdisciplinary coordination and interface handling
• Coordinate, facilitate or participate in technical project reviews – Design Reviews, HAZID, HASOP, LOPA, etc.
• Provide technical support/assistance during testing and completion of the hydrogen plant

Key qualifications

• Higher education, B.Sc./M.Sc. level within process control, automation, cybernetics, or electrical engineering
• Preferably 2 - 5 years with project engineering experience
• Certificate of apprenticeship in combination with higher education is preferred
