Main tasks and responsibilities

• Understand and be able to read mechanical drawings, work orders or other instructions to build up test hardware
• Understand and be able to read electrical schematics and specifications to determine wiring and assembly sequences of test hardware
• Ensure test stations remain in good working order with focus on preventative maintenance and upgrade requirements
• Perform tests and summarize test results in graphs, Power Point charts, and written reports
• Supports manufacturing and/or service group in testing of non-conforming product and analyzing components from field returns
• Perform diagnostics on non-working equipment, identify issues and implement repairs
• Capable of working well in a multi-disciplinary team environment

Key Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years experience working hands on in a research and development environment
• Motivated self-starter with high level of initiative and willingness to suggest and implement improvements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple tasks
• Capable of working well in a multi-disciplinary team environment with high degree of collaboration
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience working with electrochemical devices desired
